Melvin Simons is a filmmaker, painter, and looking for wold peace.
The latter is something he hasn't fully mastered yet, but he’s working on it. As a filmmaker, Melvin often focuses on societal issues that he addresses in his films. His most recent work, "Gewoon Mens" (Just Human), is inspired by the childcare benefits scandal.(toeslagenaffaire.) Through his films, Melvin aims to raise awareness and ignite important discussions within society.
In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Melvin harbors a great fascination for painting,
primarily specializing in painting various buttocks. Furthermore, he is also the
illustrator of the "Kut Kleurboek voor Volwassenen" (Vulva Coloring Book for Adults).
